DESCRIPTION

Caspase 3 Substrate 1m (Apopain), fluorogenic is a specialized reagent for detecting caspase - 3 (Apopain) activity. Engineered with a specific peptide sequence, it is selectively cleaved by caspase - 3. When this cleavage happens, it generates fluorescence, enabling highly sensitive and quantitative measurement of caspase - 3 activity in biological samples. As caspase - 3 is a central player in apoptosis, this fluorogenic substrate helps researchers understand programmed cell - death mechanisms in normal development and disease, and is useful for screening drugs that can regulate caspase - 3 to treat conditions like cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
