4. Scientific Information and Website Content
Alan Scientific makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate scientific and technical information, including product names, sequences, molecular weights, molecular formulas, CAS numbers, purity information, storage recommendations, research applications, and related scientific content.

For a purchased Product, the batch-specific COA, product label, order confirmation, and applicable written specification should be considered the primary references for the material supplied.

Customers are responsible for determining whether a supplied Product is appropriate for their intended research application.
Qualified Third-Party Providers
Alan Scientific may engage qualified manufacturing, laboratory, analytical, logistics, technical, computational, or other service providers as appropriate in connection with the fulfillment of products and services. Alan Scientific remains the customer's primary commercial contact for the applicable order or project.
6. Custom Peptide Synthesis
Custom peptide synthesis is performed according to the sequence, quantity, purity, modification, salt form, and other specifications provided or approved by the Customer.
Custom synthesis may involve technical uncertainty, particularly for peptides with characteristics such as:
Long sequences
High hydrophobicity
Aggregation tendency
Multiple disulfide bonds
Cyclization
Noncanonical amino acids
Extensive modification
Difficult purification profiles
Alan Scientific will use commercially reasonable efforts to complete custom synthesis according to the agreed specifications.
However, unless expressly guaranteed in writing, Alan Scientific does not guarantee a specific synthesis yield, recovery, solubility, biological activity, experimental result, purification behavior, or downstream research outcome.
If technical difficulties occur, Alan Scientific may contact the Customer to discuss alternative synthesis, purification, modification, quantity, purity, or delivery options.
7. Customer-Provided Sequences and Technical Information
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of sequences, molecular structures, modifications, target information, experimental requirements, and other technical information submitted to Alan Scientific.
Alan Scientific is not responsible for errors or project outcomes resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or ambiguous Customer-provided information.
Customers represent that they have the necessary rights and authorization to submit sequences, structures, confidential information, intellectual property, or other materials to Alan Scientific.
Submission of a sequence, molecular structure, or research project does not transfer ownership of the Customer's underlying intellectual property to Alan Scientific.
8. Custom Products, Changes, and Cancellations
Custom Products are manufactured specifically according to Customer requirements.
Requests to modify, cancel, return, replace, or refund a custom order may depend on the production status of the project and the terms stated in the applicable quotation or order confirmation.
Once synthesis, specialized material procurement, modification, purification, analytical testing, or other custom production activities have begun, certain costs may already have been incurred.
Customers should submit requested order changes as early as possible.
If a supplied Product does not meet an agreed written specification, Alan Scientific will review the relevant production and QC records and work with the Customer to determine an appropriate resolution.
9. AI and Computational Services
Alan Scientific may provide AI-assisted and computational research services, including:
Peptide design
Peptide sequence optimization
Molecular modeling
Molecular docking
Virtual screening
ADMET prediction
BBB prediction
Property prediction
Candidate prioritization
Related computational analyses
Computational outputs are predictive and probabilistic in nature.
They do not constitute experimental confirmation and should not be interpreted as guarantees of biological activity, binding affinity, toxicity, pharmacokinetics, BBB penetration, safety, efficacy, or regulatory success.
AI-generated rankings, scores, structural hypotheses, confidence values, or optimization recommendations are intended to support research prioritization and experimental design.
Experimental validation remains necessary for scientific conclusions.
Alan Scientific does not guarantee that an AI-selected, computationally designed, or optimized candidate will produce a particular experimental or biological result.
10. Biological and Experimental Results

Production timelines, turnaround times, and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Custom research Products may be affected by synthesis complexity, purification requirements, QC testing, raw material availability, carrier delays, customs clearance, weather, transportation interruptions, or other circumstances outside Alan Scientific's reasonable control.
Alan Scientific will use commercially reasonable efforts to communicate material production or shipping delays.
Customers should inspect packages and Products promptly after delivery and notify Alan Scientific of visible shipping damage, product discrepancies, or other concerns as soon as reasonably possible.
Shipping and transportation may also be subject to applicable carrier terms and conditions.
14. Storage, Handling, and Reconstitution
Customers are responsible for following the storage, handling, reconstitution, safety, and usage instructions supplied with each Product.
Peptide and research-product stability may depend on factors including:
Temperature
Moisture
Light exposure
Oxidation
Concentration
Solvent
pH
Repeated freeze-thaw cycles
General storage recommendations on the Website do not replace batch-specific documentation.
Where applicable, Customers should follow the storage information provided on the COA, label, or accompanying product documentation.

Alan Scientific recognizes that custom research projects may involve confidential scientific and technical information.
Where a separate confidentiality or nondisclosure agreement is in effect, that agreement will govern confidential information.
In the absence of a separate agreement, Alan Scientific will use commercially reasonable measures to protect non-public technical information submitted in connection with a Customer project, subject to applicable legal, operational, security, and regulatory requirements.

Products may not be purchased, exported, transferred, or used in violation of United States export-control laws, economic sanctions, or other applicable restrictions.
Customers represent that they are not prohibited or restricted parties under applicable U.S. government sanctions or export-control programs.
